Christians Set Bar So Low For Trump, He Can Trip Over It

I didn’t realize how many people think simply holding a Bible makes someone a Christian.

The Antichrist will have an easy job duping Christians who will fight you, claiming that this man is a Christian because he did a photo op “praying” with prosperity-pimp Beth Moore & co. and says the word “God” sometimes.

Trump isn’t the Antichrist, but he’s not a Christian. The fruit he bears makes that crystal clear.

With that said, we should pray that Trump starts taking the counsel of his advisors to heart — to stop this divide and conquer rhetoric. To put a stop to the divisive speech during this time. We should also pray that God softens the heart of all leaders to the message of the gospel, including ones like Xi Jinping and the leaders of these riot groups.

What leader in your area will you commit to pray for regularly? Local government leaders need your prayers too.

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,” — 1 Timothy 2:1–3 ESV

While Jesus told us that the beginning of birth pains would be just like this, remember, your trust for salvation must be in Christ alone, not man.

  • “A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched.” — Proverbs 28:25 ESV
  • “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” — Proverbs 29:25 ESV

When I first saw the video of this photo op, I couldn’t help but think of Proverbs 6:12–19 ESV:

“A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech, winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger, with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord; therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.”
