I had to help raise my siblings when they were born when I was 16 & 18 years old. My parents liked to brag that they had "built in babysitters."

I didn't get to have the teenage experience because I was too busy changing diapers and taking care of babies. Then I constantly had to worry about them as I got older because my parents made horrible financial decisions.

I'm done having kids without ever having any of my own.
